"Not called!'" did you say? "Not heard the call," I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help.

Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their father's house and bid their brothers and sisters and servants and masters not to come there.

Then look Christ in the face ~whose mercy you have professed to obey ~ and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world.

~keep pressing on

Today I had the precious opportunity to meet with the sponsor children of two of my dearest friends...Ana and Marvin. There is nothing as moving as watching these precious children's eyes light up as they open up their packages from their sponsors in Canada.

Ana is Mike & Sandra Mulders sponsor child. For the past few years I have handed her a gift and sat and watched as she quietly opens her gift. She is so beautiful and shy... She says very little. But today she pulled Pastor Luis over, and asked him to translate a message for me to give to Mike & Sandra. Her message was this: Thank you very much for everything. May God bless you. Keep pressing on. Yes. She said, keep pressing on. She has no idea the challenges that they have faced these past few months. Yet her message to them is so perfect and so fitting. Keep pressing on. I truly believe that this was a message from God. It is a privilege to be able to pass this message on.
